The opportunity to influence the future workforce exists by collaborating with educators and institutions as a receptive placement host for students. Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada supports the opportunity to host interns in a variety of disciplines providing mentors and coaches to guide students in their practical learning.
By submitting this document to the Coordinator, Workforce Training and Development, you are confirming that you are the named student or that the named student has provided consent to share information and participate in the applicable Workforce Training and Development placement with VLRC.
Workforce Training and Development will review all requests and resumes/CV within 3 business days of receipt.
WTD will collaborate with VLR Managers in finding appropriate placement options. VLR cannot guarantee placement in a preferred location and in some circumstances, due to workforce capacity, placement may not be available.
Within 10 business days of reviewing the request, WTD will contact the student and/or placement coordinator to discuss options and connect the student to a VLR Manager as applicable.
